About Us - The Heart Behind Happy Little T-Shack

Welcome to Happy Little T-Shack, a small Southern business built on faith, family, and the kind of courage that only comes from stepping into the unknown with God holding the door open.

When I first started making shirts, it wasn’t anything big — just a little side hustle during COVID to bring in some extra money. I never imagined it would grow into what it is today. In November of 2021, I started working full-time with a company I truly loved. I adored my job, my coworkers, and the routine of it all. Life felt steady, safe, and honestly… great. And on the side, I kept making shirts — slowly building a business that stayed steady and meaningful, even if it was just part-time.

Deep down, I always dreamed of being able to work for myself full-time, but it felt impossible… something for “one day.” So I did what most people do — I kept working hard, building both my career and my education. I went back to college and earned my bachelor’s degree to move up and make more money in the field I was in. I was even awarded Staff Member of the Year, which made me feel appreciated and secure.

But then life shifted in a way I never expected.
A month after earning my degree, and only weeks after receiving that award, I was fired — suddenly and without any warning. I still believe I was wrongfully terminated, because I was never told about the policy changes or that anything I was doing was wrong. It was devastating, confusing, and honestly, it broke my heart.

But God has a way of using heartbreak as redirection.

Instead of letting that moment destroy me, I felt a pull — a quiet, steady voice saying, “Try. Go all in. This is your chance.” As hurt as I was, I couldn’t shake the feeling that maybe this was a blessing in disguise. Maybe someone else needed that job more than I did. Maybe God was moving me into a new season — one where I finally bet on myself and the gifts He gave me.

So I took the leap.
I decided to give this business — my business — everything I had.

What started as making unique, quality shirts with ideas you can’t find in stores has now grown into making shirts for just about everything and everyone. If you need it, I’ll do it — birthdays, inside jokes, work shirts, church tees, memory pieces, holiday designs, last-minute gifts — anything. I’m here to help anyone I can, in any way I’m capable, even if it’s “just in T-shirt form.”

My goal now is simple:
to take care of my family, bring joy to others, and build something meaningful out of the season God led me into.

I love people the way Jesus teaches us to love — openly, generously, and with a willing heart.
Thank you for supporting my small business, my dreams, and my little corner of the world. You are helping me create a life I prayed for, and I hope my work brings joy into yours, too. 💛
